The Judge was an important figure in the TMLRA’s early history and his legacy lives on in the organization today. 

At this writing, what this editor knows about Judge Resley is little compared to others who knew him personally.  I will let their recollections tell the story about this man who meant so much to our organization.  I felt it fitting to include a couple of items regarding Judge Resley at this time, considering our 60th anniversary and the new website.

Judge Resley  was featured on the cover of the Muzzle Blast in August of 1969, the article was written by Elmer Templeton.  The Judge had a feature column in many copies of our very own Swap Sheet, as did lots of other writer’s, his column was called WEST of the Pecos.  The Judge from all accounts was one of the most colorful members of the TMLRA’s early history but I will quit right here and let others recount their memories of the ‘Judge’. 

I would like to add that the Judge was not alone as there are many more great individuals that have made up this organization.  They will also be featured in the future here in the site through interviews, stories and photos.
